In the story 12 angry men they are arguing about whether or not a young man is guilty or not of murdering his father. The facts line up which is why personally I think he is guilty. He bought a pocket knife the same day his father was killed, there was a witness, and the neighbor heard the whole incident. They (the jurors) spent the whole time arguing about whether or not he was guilty except for one who truly believes that the kid is innocent. He grew up in a tough place and was basically getting abused all his life. He believes in the saying innocent until proven guilty which is causing a whole problem with all the other jurors. I haven't read any further in the book but I'm pretty sure there are a lot more arguments ahead waiting for me to read up on.
i don't think he is guilty and the juror number 8 helps prove that by bringing up the evidence later in the book he brings up that the neighbor that said he heard them couldn't have possible heard them because that is the time the train was passing making it impossible for him to here anything that was going on during that time upstairs.
